Have you ever been in an amusement park? (the one with lots of arcades and rides, like Roller Coaster and Ferris Wheel). Do you remember your first time there? When you're a little bit scared and nervous, but at the same time excited. Remember the first time.. you don't want to miss the chance, to experience, and to try riding on the rides. You don't want to miss it, for it might also be your last if you let it pass. That's the moment you'll say, IT'S NOW OR NEVER.
Same thing with our life as Christians... we shouldn't miss the chance, the opportunity God is offering us. From the moment we have received Jesus in our hearts, and accepted Him as our personal Lord and Saviour, we are also entitled to make the first step, to decide whether you'll continue your same old boring life or commit yourself wholeheartedly to the Lord.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come. -2 Corinthians 5:17
Because you had already accepted Him as your personal Lord and savior, then it means you're also willing to commit yourself to Him. It means, you're now guided/ directed by Him. and Now that He is in you, you have to value your time/life (make it meaningful) and use it for His glory.
3 Things to remember now that you are WITH CHRIST:
1. You are no longer living in the past
Your past is not your future.

It's often said that the past is the predictor of the future. However, when we seek the heart of God, no one can predict the unexpected mysteries that unfolds when God's will is sought and prevails. It's not important who you are and what you are yesterday. Whatever mistake that you did, the failures, errors, and nightmares that hunts you, leave it all behind. Accept that you cannot change it and leave it to all to God. It's not enough to forgive the one that hurt you, you should forgive yourself too because God already did.. Just like what they always say, you cannot go back and reset what have happened in the past, but you can always start a change today and make a better tomorrow.
Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. -Isaiah 43:18
Our past is a part of who we are and who have become in the Lord. Even some of the bad things in our past have been used by God to shape, mold and transform us into the kind of person He wants us to become in Him.
2. You are being transformed by God
When we are still living our old life we are seen like a caterpillar. What others could only see in us are the bad attitudes, our wrong doings and the negative side. But as soon as we have been born again, we transform into butterflies, and people can then easily look clearly to the positive side, the good qualities that we possess.
And to put on the new self created to be like God in righteousness and holiness. -Ephesians 4:24
We should put away the negative qualities and put on the good qualities. God already changed you, and is still changing you, you just have to let His will prevail in the process.
3. You are now living a new life with Christ
Stop looking at the things that are holding you back, your doubts, fears, guilt and everything that burdens your heart. Now that Jesus is in you, allow Him to take over your life. In your every choices, decisions and plans, think first if it's what He wants for you, if it's what He would do or choose if He's on your shoes. Remember, He lived and died for you even though you know you don't deserve it. But He loves you, that's why He did...
so LET GO AND LET GOD transform your life. Leave all your worries behind for you to live a life for Jesus Christ.
I have been crucified with Christ, It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. -Galatians 2:20-21
You are no longer your old sinful self, because you are now a new human being, with Jesus inside your heart. You are no longer living for yourself alone but for the Lord. So, you must use your new self, your everyday life for God's glory. And now's the right time to do that. becaue IF NOT NOW, WHEN? tommorrow? or the next day? They say past is past, the future is uncertain, and all we have is today, that's why it's called present, bacause it's a gift from God.
Just like taking the rides in Star City, Enchanted Kingdom or wherever, take it as "once in a lifetime", it means there's no second chance. All you have is today, you have the opportunity, grab it. Grab the chance, for there might not be another time, there might be no next time. God is calling you today, God is speaking to you...He's knocking in your heart today. Now's the right time to start and follow Him. to start living for Him. It's Now or Never!
